Meet the Founder
Alexis Pello brings over 8 years of accounting and financial systems experience from Koch Industries, where she supported complex businesses across payables, receivables, payroll and benefits, ledger accounting, treasury, reporting, and process transformation. She also partnered closely with IT teams on ERP implementations and system enhancements, helping finance organizations stay accurate, efficient, and scalable.
She has led high-impact initiatives including reducing aged receivables by over $4 million, restructuring financial ledgers to better align with business strategy, and supporting multimillion-dollar ERP implementations and financial cleanups. Her work has helped organizations gain clearer visibility into their financial health, strengthen controls, and make smarter decisions with confidence.
Alexis is a QuickBooks Certified Professional and founded LedgerChick after seeing firsthand how many small business owners — including her own family — struggled to manage books without an accounting background. She created LedgerChick to give business owners the clarity, organization, and peace of mind they deserve, without the overwhelm.
A Wichita native and Fort Hays State graduate, Alexis lives in Wichita with her husband, AJ, their three daughters — Miah, McKenna, and Tessa — and their silver lab, Cameron. When she’s not working, you’ll likely find her cheering on Duke basketball or the Chiefs, working out, reading on her Kindle, or crafting with her girls.
